Why Brazilian Bare is No Longer Available on Amazon

Why America's #1 Shave Syrup For Women Is Not Available On Amazon...

Our goal is (and always has been) to offer all women the finest in luxury shaving products. Not only does this mean making sure our formulas deliver on their promise to provide the smoothest, most comfortable shave possible, but it also means that Brazilian Bare is easily available at retailers that reflect our values... which brings us to the reason why our brand is no longer going to be available on Amazon.

A Little History...

Brazilian Bare's journey began in 2019 when we launched our Original Vanilla Shave Syrup on their platform. Over the years, we enjoyed an equitable partnership with them; while we provided new and innovative women's shaving products that they purchased from us on a regular basis (and then resold), they, in turn,  offered their customers the opportunity to shop  for America's #1 Luxury Shaving Brand for women...Brazilian Bare.

In October of 2024, we began to notice that we were no longer receiving purchase orders for our products from them as we had done regularly for many years despite the fact that our business with Amazon had continued to grow at a rapid pace. When we reached out to them to inquire why this was the case, we received many vague responses ranging from "we are looking into it" to "Amazon's orders are generated by an 'algorithm' so we would just have to wait until they were ready to re-order". We also noticed that they kept encouraging us to explore a new way of doing business with them on a platform called "Seller Central". After waiting for months with no updates provided by Amazon, we did some research and heard that Amazon was encouraging all "boutique brands" to join their Seller Central Platform. Additionally, in January of 2025 we received an email from Amazon stating that they were 'terminating our Vendor Central relationship" and we would be forced to move over to Seller Central and pay the incredibly high fees that they required. At this point we explored this new option and quickly found that due to the exorbitant fees they charged to participate on Seller Central, this was not a viable option for us. It was now clear that Amazon was trying to "strong-arm" our Company to participate in a program that made Amazon very profitable  while forcing us to lose money. We decided, as many other companies had, that we would not be "held hostage" to a decision we had no say in and have chosen to remove our products from their website.

They May Have "Prime" But We've Got Ms. Bev! 

We believe in being true to our loyal customers and suppliers so we are very comfortable with our decision not to be part of their Seller Central program. While Brazilian Bare will no longer be part of Amazon's "Prime" program, we've got something (or should we say "someone") better... Ms Bev! Ms Bev is the head of our shipping department and gets everyone's orders out as soon as possible. In addition to her dedication and attention to detail, we also offer the following:
